Help CAM+TOM record their 'Black Neon' EP this month! It's extremely easy; you're directly supporting our original music, AND you can get a personalized EP and 'Black Neon' artwork.
CAM+TOM (Cameron Stewart & Tom Harris) have been friends and musical collaborators for 10 years. They are best known for their outrageous collection of shirts. They also sometimes give renditions of jazz tunes from the likes of Chet Baker. This year, they decided to cut footloose and embark on a new, very different, Kenny Loggins-endorsed* project.
Cam had been taking a break from music and enjoying his life as a history teacher, but a voice kept nagging in his ear. That voice was Tom. What started as a coffee and a jam in the summer holidays of 2017-18 turned into lots more coffees and jams, and eventually, a set of original jazzy, phunky, 80s-inspired retro tunes to be performed live at Orange Studio in Christchurch. But there's a catch - Orange only seats about 50 people, and many of our friends live in different places. Here's where you come in.
Recording an album is expensive and we need your support to get it done. We're asking for $30/$20/$10/anything you can give.
For $10, you will be an official Patron Of The Arts (you can put this on your business card), and we will be forever grateful!
For $20, you will receive a copy of our 'Black Neon' EP.
For $30, you will receive a copy of our 'Black Neon' EP, as well as a personalised copy of the album art.
Please make sure you tick 'share your details' when you donate, so we can get the goodies to you!
*We haven't spoken to Kenny or his people, but we assume he'd be sweet with it.
