Cambridge Lifeskills is a non profit organisation that raises funds to allow free counselling to school age children. The councillor's cover issues such as bullying, child abuse, parent separation, anxiety, death within the family, cyber bullying etc. Each of the councillors' require a laptop to record records of child visits and the transition of the children through the period of their counselling. This then links back to their supervisor. We are unfortunately growing and the requirement to purchase more laptops has arisen. We fund raise all the money within the community to support this cause and support is ongoing which we truly appreciate. Our target for this current need is $1800.00

Cambridge Lifeskills is a "one of a kind" organisation that provides free counselling to school age children. This covers a very wide variety of issues such as bullying, child abuse, parent separation, anxiety etc

We fund raise all our expenses as we are not government funded in anyway.

Use of funds

Cambridge Lifeskills is a non profit organisation that requires new laptops for their councillor's. We are constantly fundraising to keep this unique organisation afloat. Unfortunately the need is growing and we currently have a wait list.

On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
