We are embarking on the journey of a lifetime! We want to participate in Camp America 2016 - but to do this we need your help!

Harrison and I have taken up the opportunity of a lifetime by enrolling for Camp America 2016. Camp America is a 9 week programme held all over the USA, and we will be camp counselors - sharing our skills and teaching the children all that we can. Harrison is 18 and has just finished his Diploma in Professional Cookery, and I (Justine) am 19 and have just gained my Certificate in Early Childhood Education and Care. We believe that we can contribute a lot to Camp America - share our skills and knowledge, and show the USA our Kiwi attitudes and spirit.
We have already been accepted into the programme so all we need now is your support to help us raise enough to cover the costs. Our part-time jobs are giving us a great start, but we can't get there on our own. Our goal is $8000 as this will cover all that we need. Here is a breakdown of the costs per person:
Application - $350
Passport - $200
Medical Insurance - $660
Visa - $250
Travel to Auckland for Visa Interview - $100
Medical Checks - $100
Flights - approx $2500
Our aspirations are high but even just one dollar will make a big difference for us!

Hey everyone! I recieved an email this morning from Camp Thunderbird in Orlando, Florida saying that they loved my application and want to talk to me about working there! This is super exciting, things are moving along fast. Woohoo! - Justine.
