Can you help our girls to go to the 2022 Halberg Games?

Please help our girls with Cerebral Palsy to attend the 2022 Halberg Games.

Taupo, Waikato

We have three exceptional students at Taupo Nui-a-Tia College that have Cerebral Palsy.

They would love to have the opportunity to take part in the annual Halberg Games event in October in Auckland. Please see this link for more information - www.halberggames.co.nz

The Halberg Games would give these girls the chance to compete in different games with lots of teenagers with varied physical disabilities in a fun filled atmosphere. They would get to meet new friends, learn new skills, gain more confidence, have lots of fun and want to start up a new sport or skill that they've learnt at the games in Taupo.

In preparation for the Halberg Games, the girls will be participating in the 5km walk event at the Taupo Marathon.

Thank you to everybody that supported us to go to the Halberg Games!  18 October 2022

Thank you for your incredible generosity and for helping the girls to get to the Halberg Games in Auckland. They had the most magical time and got to take part in sports and games that they'd never had an opportunity to play before. A highlight for the girls was being able to ride a bike on their own, have a go at archery, badminton, Boccia (like bowls), basketball, cricket, doing fitness circuits and being part of an incredible event with others. We couldn't have done this without your support; from the bottom of our hearts, we thank you!
