Student Exchange Canada

My name is Tamsin Armstrong. I am a 16 year old student, in Year 12 at Hauraki Plains College. I have been accepted to go on a 5 month student exchange to Prince George, Canada from the beginning of September 2015. I will be attending school and immersing myself in my host family's way of life. I am very excited about going, but still need to find some funds to help my parents out with this trip. The programme fee for 1 semester is CAD$5673.00. This is approximately NZD$7000.00. This fee pays for my board with my host family and pastoral care by the exchange organisers, as well as my placement with a family, along with a variety of other services. Travel insurance costs $670.00. My airfares cost $2500.00. I also need to pay school expenses. This will include any uniform and stationary plus school excursions. I also need to have a minimum of $1500.00 to have for every day expenses. Any donations to help me out would be very much appreciated.
