HELP HOWIE FIGHT SECONDARY CANCER. Please help us fund Howies unfunded treatment as he battles another round of cancer.

Gisborne

Cancer first started three years ago for howie, with a rare cancer called Sarcoma which started in his left leg. He went through 5 weeks of radiation coming back and forth from Hamilton to Gisborne every week. Three years later it moved it way up to his lung which he had surgery hoping to remove it.

Surgery was unsuccessful and it has come back even more aggressive. After two rounds of chemotherapy a CT scan showed the cancer had not responded and the treatment had stopped.

Howie and his wife Wendy have had to now go privately in order to give it one last stab. The immunotherapy drug Keytruda is not funded in New Zealand for his type of cancer and may cost around $10,000 per treatment.

Use of funds

All funds will go towards Howard's Keytruda treatment he requires and any surplus funds will go towards Hospice Tairawhiti. Every little bit helps!
