Northland

The Jim Carney Cancer Centre was built through the generosity of many thousands of Northlands who supported the fundraising effort over several years. The Centre opened in November 2014 and has been a huge support for patients and families who are dealing with Cancer. Ongoing support for the operations of the Centre are gratefully received.

Northland Foundation's involvement (page creator)

Northland Foundation was the force behind the original fundraising programme to build the Cancer Centre. "Project Promise" galvanised a region to raise $3m in 3 years to build this vital Centre for people in Northland dealing with Cancer.
