Lifelong treasured community member loses transport
Raising funds for Ferne to get back on the road after her car was stolen and written off.
Waihi, Waikato
On October 5th Ferne's car was stolen from her home in Waihi and ultimately crashed and written off. This happened while she was between visits to support her mother who is newly adapting to a rest home after a personally rough few weeks.
Ferne has now lost her own transport to assist with this, let alone to get from a-to-b; work, supermarket, and other necessities. Unfortunately, previous injuries and health issues limit her walking capabilities.
Earlier in the year she herself was in and out of hospital for her own health issues.
Ferne is a humble, but treasured member of the Waihi community.
She is greatly appreciative and thankful for the support she has already been given from the community following this - and after others have suggested it and wanted to give to her - has accepted whatever this page brings to help her get her own transport again.
