Car stolen while daughter is in maternity hospital.

As some may know my daughter Brooklyn has been in hospital since 11th Nov unable to walk or stand unassisted after a C-Section complication.

We were in Tauranga hospital for 15 days and in this time it put financial struggle on my girl and her partner who was unable to go to work and is still not back at work as he cares for Brooky and their new baby.

On top of that they were transfered back to Whakatane maternity a few days ago and although Brooky still cant walk or stand unassisted, the pain had subsided enough for her to be discharged, only to realise their car had been taken from the maternity carpark in the early hours of Saturday morning 29th November.

Unfortunately there was no insurance.

In the car was baby's brand new pram and car seat inserts (now baby's carseat is illegal to use without the insert) and due to the hospital stay there were lots of belongings in the car.

Today the car was found in Ruatoki blown up 😭

My husband and I bought the car just a few months ago as a gift for them as they entered the new parents journey and sadly baby only had 1 ride in it before it was stolen.
