Car written off in Crash - please help

My daughter in law was in an accident. The car is a write off. Sadly they did not have insurance. They have a 1 1/2 year old boy. They now have no vehicle at all.

My son got a quote for insurance last week and was told he couldn't do it as he only had a restricted licence!! One week prior to accident!!! He tried to get insurance. He done an online quote. He now has his full.

This is the 2nd time they have been hit in a year. And not their fault. Last time was a write off too so he used his kiwisaver.

I am lost on how to help as my car was stolen last year, so I had to purchase a new car a month ago.

Anything will help. And would be hugely appreciated. I wouldn't usually call out for help like this. But such a run of bad luck

Luckily and thankfully baby was not in the car, and Jacqui is OK. Just sore from whiplash.

The driver who was at fault, tried to lie to the police and say that the driver had taken off, but it was actually her. She did not have insurance, and the police will not give any of her details as they are taking her to court
