Cardinal McKeefry School's dog - Nessie needs your help!
Raising funds for a supportive and loving school dog who needs surgery in order to live without constant pain and limping.

Nessie joined our school community two years ago as a way of supporting tamariki during an unpredictable Covid-19 period. She has absolutely adored her time in Room 1 with Miss Thomsen and her students. She is well loved and supports CMcK tamariki with their learning and in particular their anxiety. Nessie is a calm and happy dog who loves a good cuddle with her friends. She has been a valuable teacher aid and continues to be a great source of fun, laughter and peace for her students.
Unfortunately, she now needs your help! Nessie has torn the major ligaments running through her hind legs. She is in pain and needs surgery in both her back legs. Each surgery will cost around $4,500 so that's $9,000 altogether. Any donations that can be made is an immense help for Nessie to receive the surgeries and care she requires to recover and to get back to full health.

Nessie has received her first surgery. This has only been made possible by the absolutely amazing CMcK community, along with the help of my wonderful friends and family. All your donations and sharing of Nessie's page has raised enough for her first surgery. Both Nessie and I are so grateful! We wanted to take this time to thank every single one of you for your generous donations and unwavering support! THANK YOU SO MUCH! We can't say or show it enough but we are genuinely so humbled by all of your kindness.
