For over 15 years, Care for Families NZ has been supporting families facing some of life's toughest challenges. Each year we provide care packages, neonatal support, bereavement resources, mental health support, and Christmas gifts to families who may otherwise go without

This year we have set an ambitious goal of raising $50,000 by 12 December to help fund our annual Christmas Drive and ensure hundreds of families across New Zealand receive practical support, gifts, and essential items during the festive season.

From 7 September to 12 December, we'll be running our Annual Christmas Fundraising Drive and hosting a live online Quiz Night,

Every dollar makes a difference:

🎄$1.50 helps prucqgse wipes for a pack

🎄 $10 helps provide essential items for a family in need.

🎄 $25 helps contribute towards a Christmas gift pack.

🎄 $50 helps us support multiple families through our Christmas programme.

About us

Our Mission is to bring the joy back to what should be a special time of a family's life and removing the stress, by providing them basic needs for their child/children.

Use of funds

Christmas gifts, care packages, essential household items, nappies, toiletries, wrapping supplies, freight costs, and support for families in need throughout New Zealand.

Wow! Thanks to your incredible support, we have now raised $2,000 towards our $50,000 goal! ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who bid in our auction, donated, shared our posts, and joined us for our quiz night. Despite a few technical hiccups, we had an amazing evening filled with laughter, prizes, and heartfelt stories from families whose lives have been touched by our packs.

With our auction now complete, we're officially launching into our 2026 Christmas Drive. Every dollar raised will help us continue supporting families throughout the year, fulfil Christmas orders, and work towards our dream of helping even more families across New Zealand.

We still have a long way to go, but every donation, share, and comment helps us get closer to our goal.
