Fundraising for Care for families

Care for Families is a registered non profit charity, we do neonatal packs for families with sick or premature babies, Bereavement packs for families going through misscarriage and baby loss, Cancer Care boxes to support patients through treatment and Aroha boxes to help individuals struggling with mental health, by reminding them that they not alone and someone cares.

With more and more orders pouring in weekly, and having to work from home. we are currently in a container that doesn't even grasp the magnitude of what we are doing. Its not the best environment for volunteers, a community that we want to cultivate and grow, currently has no electricity which is fun when up against the elements eek. there is a lack of space for the vast amount of donations we are needing to receive to make the packs possible and even less space to pack them. It also means we definitely have no space to have pre made ready to go on hand and with weeks where we can have over 50 packs going out or leading up to Christmas where we need to pre-make over 1,000 packs it is just not possible.

So we are turning to our trusted and loyal volunteers to help us raise the funds needed to put a full purpose built facility on our property that can accommodate the need of making our packs and can help us to cultivate a warm and inviting environment for our volunteers to be able to participate.
