Care for Coco

We've had our dog since she was a puppy. She was adopted in 2007 from the SPCA and has provided endless amounts of joy to our lives.

She's our gorgeous little nine-year old Huntaway X and recently suffered a fall causing a disc fracture in the lumbar vertebrae in her spine meaning that she now has weakness in her hind limbs and tail and finds it so difficult to walk and do basic doggy things. Our whole family have been working really hard and have spent a lot of money since the accident to make her as comfortable as possible while we fundraise enough money for the treatment she so urgently needs.

She desperately needs a CT scan, spinal surgery, and a few months of physical therapy to give her a chance at recovering and living a full and happy life. She's our beautiful, fun, bubbly and energetic dog, we're hoping that she'll be back to her old self soon. We really need your help to get our little furry family member up and running after birds and chasing tennis balls around the lounge again, we love her so much and just want her to make a full recovery! Unfortunately our love is not going to pay the large bills and so we're facing the hard and harsh reality of possibly losing our beloved puppy...:(

Our specialist quoted approximately $7000 for the CT scan and surgery, and anything more donated will go towards her after-surgery care such as physical therapy, veterinary check-ups, and medications.
