Caring for Carrie

It has been one month since my accident. I am currently in the Burwood Spinal Rehabilitation Unit doing Occupational and Physio Therapy twice a day. I have use of my arms and I’m slowly re-gaining use of my hands. My journey so far has been a mixture of highs and lows. Some days are tougher than others. I take each day as an opportunity to push myself and my body to get as far as I possibly can. There is a long, hard road in front of me but it’s one I’m going to take with everything I have. My family are here with me for the time being; they are a form of my therapy. I want to thank everybody who have thought about us and have donated. There are no words to express our gratitude. I will post updates on here throughout my journey.
