A fund created by a team of friends and cheerleading squad to support and rehabilitate our dear friend Carlos Solrac Thompson.

Otago

A critical stomach condition has put him in hospital since the beginning of January, where he has undergone two major invasive bowel operations. Although he is healing, it is a painfully slow and detrimental process for his body and he is still only recieving nutrition from a deep arterial line.

This is a complex and unique case that has left our friend in dire need of help.

Carlos Thompson Healing & Rehabilitation Fund's involvement (page creator)

We're involved in this cause as Carlos is a dear friend of ours and an exquisite human being who has endured three months in hospital and years of compromised health and living in pain. The future impacts and consequences on his health and well-being remain unknown, as does any curative treatment and management of his condition. He is a friend in need and we wanted to reach out to his family of friends if they wanted to contribute.

Use of funds

All proceeds will go towards supporting his recovery and rehabilitation. This may include alternative methods of treatment (Naturopathy, Acupuncture, Nutritionist etc).

The funds will also support Carlos in his transition home from hospital including the day-to-day living expenses and building his future.
