Hello my name is Carl Pracey and I have been selected to represent New Zealand at the Junior World Rowing Champs

Auckland

Recently I was selected to represent New Zealand at the 2016 Under 19 World Rowing Champs in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

I have worked at this for quite a while, training 11 times a week for the best part of 5 years. To finally gain the privilege to represent New Zealand and wear the silver fern in front of the rest of the world is a massive honour, the boys and I want nothing but gold.

My parents and extended family have been the biggest supporters of my aspiration to represent NZ since the day I started rowing at Mt Albert Grammar School. I owe a lot of "thank you's" to the coaching team from MAGS and also West End Rowing Club - (my current club) for helping me out along the way.

Such an opportunity does come at a cost and is beyond our resources with flights, accommodation etc to cover - a total of $10,500. Any contribution you would like to make to this cause will be greatly appreciated! Even if you are unable to donate it would be great if you gave this page a share to get the message out there! :)

Thanks,

Carl Pracey
