Carl's page is aiming to raise funds for his battle against glioblastoma while seeking connections, treatments and resources to help.
Canterbury
Carl is a loving fiancé to Beth and a devoted father to their young children, Zac (2) and Phoebe (6 months). Two years ago, Carl began his cancer journey with a diagnosis of grade 3 brain cancer. After undergoing surgery, radiation, and a year of chemotherapy, they hoped they were moving forward.
But their world was turned upside down once again when Carl’s recent MRI, following another surgery, revealed the devastating news: he has glioblastoma, an aggressive, inoperable, grade 4 brain cancer.
This diagnosis has changed everything. They are now facing the harsh reality of an uncertain future with a much shorter timeframe than they ever expected. With the help of oncology specialists, Carl and his family are exploring all available treatment options, diving deep into research on clinical trials and alternative therapies. It looks like they'll be doing funded chemotherapy in NZ and unfunded immunotherapy in Germany.
They still have a few meetings to go through this week before it's all confirmed.
If you have any contacts, insights, or knowledge of treatments, trials, or resources that could assist, please reach out. Every connection, every bit of information could make a meaningful difference in Carl’s battle.
This journey is incredibly difficult, and Carl and his family need all the support they can get. Every donation, no matter the amount, will help cover medical expenses, treatments, travel, and the daily needs that come with this challenging time.
Please consider donating to Carl’s page. Your kindness will make a tangible difference in their lives during this critical time. Thank you for your support—it truly means the world.
