Carol's First Medical Mission to the Pacific Islands!

Hey everybody!

This year I will be going on my first medical mission trip through an organization here in NZ called Marine Reach. We will be providing medical care to local communities in the Pacific Islands (or South East Asia) that have limited access to health services whilst sharing the love of God.

This is a voluntary non-profit mission and the program is 5 months long. The first 3 months involve ministry training, outreach events, and community work. In the next 2 months we’ll be putting things into practice overseas (most likely Vanuatu, Fiji, or Philippines).

Here is where you come in! Please consider partnering with me spiritually and/or financially on this journey.

Firstly, I’d like to ask for prayer:

- That the training and outreach go smoothly.

-That our team can work together harmoniously

-For the spiritual, mental and physical well being of the team

-For those who we will serve, that we can fulfil needs and share the love of Christ.

-That God will provide for us throughout the mission.

Secondly, I’d like to ask for financial support. The cost of the program is $8500, which includes meals, accommodation, flights, and transport for 5 months. I am putting $2000 of my own money to pay for the course fees but will not be working during the program so I need your support to make this happen. Any amount given is more than welcome as well as greatly appreciated.

I also wish to be as transparent as possible in my fundraising goals and want to clarify that none of the funds raised will be used for personal expenses! It is enough for me to serve others and grow in my faith so in the case that I raise more than the course costs, I will donate the excess to the charity CAP(Christians Against Poverty) NZ.
