Help make Carols dreams come true

Auckland

Some of you may or may not know this beautiful woman, she’s my mum.

She’s got the biggest heart she would do anything to help anyone in need. She’s put a roof over so many people’s head I lost count. Fed many mouths. Let people take up her yard with cars and parts. She’s just overall an amazing lady.

And in 2010 she was diagnosed with Huntington’s disease, a horrible disease. She has deteriorated over the last year and my aim is to raise enough money to fund a couple of things that she deserves like-

A trip to Wanaka, South Island to visit her sister and other family down there.

A new Wardrobe as her clothes don’t fit her because she’s lost a lot of weight.

Trips to the Zoo and Kelly Tarltons, she loves those sorts of things.

And whatever she wishes to do!

So please every cent counts toward her dreams coming true she deserves to put herself first and to treat herself of the things she’s wished to do.

Thank you for reading.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
