Whanau, no matter where they are, no matter who they are, deserve to take their babies Home.
Manurewa, Auckland
The Carosika Collaborative first launched recently, on the 8th of December 2022.
We are a whanau dedicated to lowering Preterm birth rates within our whanau Maori, Pacific & Indian communities. For the last 3 years we have been developing a National Best Practise Guide for better Tool & Resources as currently in Aotearoa, there isn't one.
My name is Tina and I am from the Far North currently residing in South Auckland, New Zealand with my little whanau/aiga, my Partner of Samoan descent, Tasi Wilson and we share 4 beautiful tamariki/kamaiki together. Angel baby lost at 10weeks in 2013 (heartbeat found at 6wks, our 1st baby turning 10 this year); 2nd Angel baby lost at 23wks 6days old in 2014, Carosika Kinaya Wilson and it's our experience with Her that has brought Carosika Collaborative together; 3rd bub born full term in 2015 and on Her due date, Blessing (7yrs old) and our last bub born in 2017 1 week overdue, Clare (soon to be 6yrs old).
We are not Government funded, but are a willing team who only want the best outcomes for Whanau; no matter who you are or where you live.
Can go towards tools & resources, focus groups & interviews just to name a couple. Funds will be managed wisely and used wisely within Carosika Collaborative
