Carterton Swimming Club – Indoor Pool Project
Please help us to upgrade the Carterton indoor pool to ensure year-round swimming for our community and the wider south Wairarapa.

The Carterton indoor pool provides a year-round swimming venue, improving local recreational opportunities (particularly for youth and elderly residents). However, a 2019 facilities condition report found that the pool building has significant structural and environmental issues which must be addressed. Additional funding is required to enable the indoor pool to be upgraded to ensure the longevity of this important community asset.
About us
For the Carterton communities benefit, Carterton Swimming Club Inc endeavours to support a positive and safe family environment through running swimming events.
Use of funds
We would use the money to initiate the design stage and go to tender to secure an architect.. If our target goal is not met the money will be used to maintain the building as is for as long as possible.

Project Update – Carterton Indoor Pool Project
Thank you so much for your continued support. We’re currently progressing through the Concept Design with Developed Design phase beginningearly next year, where architects and engineers are refining the building layout, structural elements, and services for the new indoor pool facility.
This stage is essential for preparing accurate costings and ensuring the project is ready for the next steps in fundraising and approvals. Every donation helps us move closer to delivering a safe, modern, year-round swimming space for our community.
