Carvel: First Single
They've worked very hard and now, Caravel would like to record their first single!

Caravel is a blues/rockband formed by music excellence student Malachi Ray. Joshua Ray was invited to join Malachi and Joel Mitchinson once Joshua committed to significant practice. Joshua has never missed a rehearsal.
Katie Parker was the final piece of the puzzle as lead vocalist.
Having lost their Mum at 13 and 10 respectively Malachi and Joshua, formed a band and follow in their Mum and Dads footsteps as musicians. They have played various school based gigs, claimed a regional final spot in The Rockquest this year and played their first public gig at an open mic night at the MoonBar in Newtown Wellington.
They were well received.
Caravel is set to take on the world by producing their first ever single. Recording costs, so we're fundraising for them.

Use of funds
Sound recording and if there is enough a 3 song EP. Perhaps a music video ans promotion should funding be exceptional. If the goal is not met funding will contribute to the single song recording and publishing.

The Surgery day of recording cost $920

Our Distributor year plan cost $36 for the year.

That leaves us with $260
We are planning to purchase 3-5 t-shirts and have them printed with our logo/band name.
One will be awarded to a randomly selected give a little donator if we have a contact detail.
One will be handed out to one of our first 100 Instagram members (randomly selected).
One will be handed out to one of our Instagram Followers (randomly selected) on the day of our single release! 27th November.

Note: not only did we record our first song but we were organised and efficient enough to record a demo of our second single for the future!
