To help pay for flights to get our Christchurch Football Club team of Under 12 Boys across to the Japan Kids World Rugby Festival.
Canterbury
It's Rugby World Cup year and as curtain-raiser to the competition, Japan's holding the Kids World Rugby Festival in April.
New Zealand will be represented by some incredible under 12 year old players from Christchurch Football Club (CFC), the second oldest rugby club in the world.
These boys are awesome - NZ and South Island reps among them and you won't find a crew that'll work harder on the field.
They're taking on teams from Japan, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, Samoa, Tonga, USA and England in 9-aside games.
The five coaches and supporters who'll travel with the boys are paying for their own flights but we want to raise enough money - $35,000 - for the kids' flights to be paid for.
The boys are are working for this - washing cars, sizzling sausages and mowing laws but it's a lot of money to raise in a short amount of time so if you could chip in a little too to help get them to this once in a lifetime opportunity, they'd be greatful.
All funds raised will be used to directly assist towards the cost of flights for the Christchurch Football Club players who will be attending the Festival.
