Chance is an 11 year old boy who has been diagnosed with LCH Langerhans cell hystiocytosis

    Heavy heart today we got our MRI results back and although his lesions haven't spread anymore (which is good news) they have only had a VERY slight improvement, we were hoping for more of an improvement so that he could begin to space out his chemotherapy treatments unfortunately this is not the case. Chance will continue with a second round of weekly chemotherapy treatments & more steroids, followed by another MRI down the track.

    Unfortunately this means he will still not be able to return to school & will be starting to attended the health school for two hours a week so he doesn't fall to far behind. We love and appreciate our village and all the support we have surrounding us

    Chance turned 12 today, his birthday looks different this year . Meals with our loved ones followed by chemo and no big party’s, going home for a long nap. We have a progress MRI next Tuesday. Praying for a good result so we can begin to space out chemo treatments slightly more otherwise we will be continuing with weekly treatments. We appreciate all the love and prayers 🤍
