Charitable Trust Van Wrecked

$7 of $5,000 goal
Given by 3 generous donors in around 6 months

Te Awa Trust House, supporting local communities.

Blenhiem Central, Blenheim

Earlier this year our Charitable Trust van had suffered damages said to have been caused by a leaking radiator hose and after approaching MSD to pay for the new 2nd hand motor on confirmation that we had a confirmed job we were granted money to fix the van for the purpose of us needing the vehicle for work. Unfortunately the mechanic who was paid to do the job at over $3,000.00 did not do the work and refused to remedy the van. After months of lost Disputes Tribunal hearings and appeals to the District Court against the mechanic we are still waiting for a high court decision but we have also been unable to operate without a vehicle to service our needy in communities that we reach out to.

With much love from sympathetic careers, we have been given a ford wagon but It needs to be revinned and car repairs to get the vehicle all legal and running. We are needing to raise around $8,000.00 to get our vehicle legal and in mint condition to carry out our Charitable works of everything from providing emergency shelter for those in need to establishing training packages for probationaries, providing wedding wear for the financially disadvantaged to car repairs for warrants, registrations you name it we assist with it. So if you are sympathetic in supporting our kaupapa of helping our needy of homeless and financially disadvantaged please donate today.
