Help family with vet bill for Charley goat mauled by roaming dog

One of our family members has been delt a horrible blow with the loss of our beloved Charley Goat. He was my sons first pet used for his very first AGday loved and trained daily to who he had a major bond with after his Dad suffered an anurysm in June but survived so while we spent 7 weeks in the hospital our son was at home training him up for his AGday antics. Charley was a cheeky goat who had so much character and so friendly and gentle with our littlest and he will be sadly missed.

What happened: we were awoken a midnight to barking and screams because a roaming dog came On our property on 21/nov and attacked him while he was in his kennel asleep this dog ripped his ear off and chewed his leg up while I was trying to untie him and keep the dog from attacking him further unfortunately it was too late the damage had been done. when the emergency vet came they said his injuries were to severe so we had to put him to sleep. Animal management has been looking and checking up to find the dog but had no luck and now we are left with a $200 vet bill because this dogs owner didn't keep his dog tied up.

we would love to have enough to cremate Charley and give him a lovely wooden casket with a plaque for our son to have a lovely reminder to hold on too and being a goat he is more expensive and out of our reach to do this- we can't Put him in the garden because we don't own our home and are only on a temporary lease.
