Charlie is shaving his hair off to support Cameron Suafoa in his fight with Sarcoma. Fundraising for the Sarcoma Foundation NZ

It's not often that people get to meet their hero, but Charlie is lucky enough to have not only met, but also got to know his a little bit over the years.

He has followed Cameron Suafoa's rugby career, watching him play for North Harbour, the Blues and the Māori All Blacks. Cameron's Sarcoma diagnosis was a shock and seeing him return to rugby following his first surgery was a highlight. Devastatingly his cancer has returned and is now terminal.

Charlie wants to support Cam's cause by raising awareness and fundraising for the Sarcoma Foundation. To do this, he is going to shave his hair off, which, if you know Charlie and how proud he is of his blonde mop, is a big deal. Please consider sponsoring his fundraising endeavour by donating.

We have been in touch with the Sarcoma Foundation NZ, they are supportive of Charlie's fundraiser and doing this through a give a little page. We will be sharing a photo of the donation made to the foundation at the end of this fundraiser.

Thank you so much everyone who has donated to my fundraiser. I can't believe we have made it to my goal amount. Even though we have reached the goal, I would love to keep fundraising for a few more weeks to see how much more we can raise. Mum has a few more places she'd like to share my link before we finish and my head gets shaved! Mum took a photo of my hair today, there's a lot that is going to get chopped!
