I'm hoping to go to Thailand for top surgery! In NZ, it can cost up to $24,000 for private top surgery, but only around $15,000 including flights and accomodation if I go to Thailand. There are extremely long wait times in NZ for public funding for transgender care and not being able to get top surgery is causing me significant mental distress.
