Just a quick wee update. Charlotte has made great progress since being back home. She is now able to hold her head up on her own and following and focusing on things and people. Last week she even reached out to pat our Cat, which was such an awesome thing for us to see!

She is a strong determined little girl and I have no doubt she'll be up and walking in no time.

Charlotte is struggling with chronic insomnia because of the brain injury she has after the HUS, the doctors are trying to get her day/night back into a routine. Once she is sleeping better at night, we can get stuck into a her physio and rehab. When she's is able to engage a wee bit with the rehab team we've been told we'll be sent to

    The Wilsons Home Trust

    For children with physical disabilities.

It's going to be a long road to recover for my wee girl but she's got a strong spirit and I know she will fight her way back.

Thank you to all who have donated, it certainly will take the pressure off me in the months to come.

So good to hear Tania. You are an amazing mum and have had to dig deep for the strength to face all of this for wee Charlotte. Sending you loads of love to both of you.

UPDATE: Our wee Christmas Miracle is doing well she is on the ward and her kidneys are all good, she is breathing all on her own! Today Charlotte mouthed Mum a couple of times which is huge as she still has no voice, neurologically it will be a slow recovery but we are told with time she will have it all back 🙏 Tania, Charlotte and all our Family wish you all a Merry Christmas and once again we are all so grateful for all the donations and messages of support ❤️

Our wee Christmas Miracle has been moved from 10days in PICU to HDU! Charlotte is off the Kidney dialysis and breathing on her own! Our wee fighter is giving it her best fight and we are all so very grateful! Obviously she is still very fragile but she is awake alot more and we are all just so happy to see those wee eyes! 💖
