    Hello everyone,

I wanted to update you on my recent activities and express my sincere gratitude for your support.

As a T54 Para-Athlete and Wheelchair Racer, I've been working hard despite a recent leg and hip injury, adapting my gym workouts and swimming frequently. Injuries are all a part of the journey.

Alongside my sport, I've been involved in advocacy, visiting schools in Northland and Auckland through the 'Seeing is Believing' initiative by Paralympics New Zealand. Seeing students embrace inclusivity and sports is inspiring and central to my mission of promoting accessibility for people with disabilities.

I’m thrilled to share that I recently won the 2024 North Harbour Club AIMES Award for Service to the Community. This recognition means a lot to me and is a testament to the hard work I put into both my athletic and advocacy efforts. It’s an honour to be acknowledged, and it motivates me to strive for excellence.

Working closely with my team—including my track coaches, strength and conditioning coaches, nutritionist, physiotherapist, and mental performance coach—I’m preparing for upcoming competitions later this year, determined to continue pushing boundaries in my sport.

I've extended my Givealittle campaign to allow more people to join me on this journey. Your support means everything to me. Together, we're making strides towards a more inclusive future.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Let's keep moving forward together!

    Warm regards,

    Jaden Movold

    Hey everyone!

I am thrilled to share some amazing news with you all. In March, I had the incredible opportunity to travel to Australia to attend a high-performance sprint camp. This experience allowed me to train with some of the best athletes and coaches in the world. I pushed my limits and refined my skills, taking a crucial step forward in my journey as an athlete.

But that's not all! I recently competed in the Wings for Life World Run, a global charity event that raises funds for spinal cord injury research. I am proud to announce that I came first in New Zealand and 54th in the world out of 265,818 participants! This achievement means so much to me, and I am deeply honored to now serve as an ambassador for this incredible cause. As an ambassador, I am dedicated to raising awareness and supporting research efforts to find a cure for spinal cord injuries.

Looking ahead, I am excited to head overseas in July for more competitions. This will be another fantastic opportunity to compete at an international level and continue striving for excellence.

Thank you all for believing in me and supporting my journey. I'll keep you updated on my progress and future adventures. Together, we are making a difference and achieving great things!

    Thanks all!

What an amazing month it's been! 🌟

I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to each one of you for your support throughout my journey to become the best global wheelchair racer and create a positive impact in my community. 🙏

Over the past month, I had the privilege of spending 10 days in Australia, taking part in the Summer Down Under Wheelchair Racing Series and the Canberra Straight Champs. Shortly after, I jetted off to the United Arab Emirates, competing in two World Para Athletics meets: the Sharjah 12th International Open Athletics Meeting and the 1st International Khorfakkan Meeting. 🌍🏎️

These four competitions offered me the chance to train, race, and gain valuable insights from some of the world's top wheelchair racers. The experience drove home a vital lesson – to be the best, you must compete against the best. It was an incredible journey filled with learning and enjoyment. 🚀 Hailing from a country with limited wheelchair racers and support, these trips allowed me to absorb knowledge from top coaches and athletes worldwide. The tips and tricks I gathered have paved the way for an exciting couple of months of training, with clear goals for improvement. 💪🎓

I'm gearing up for a thrilling year ahead, packed with more trips and competitions, both in New Zealand and across the globe. 🌏🏆
