World champs was a great success, placing top 32 in the world after losing to world number 3 was a great confidence boost and valuable points builder.

I'm now settled in Prague where I'll be based for the most of September. Later in the month I'll head to Luxembourg to compete, followed by a couple of training camps, and another comp in Estonia. From there, I'll start making my way home stopping in Perth for the Oceania open.

Before leaving on this tour, my contract at work was ended leaving me jobless adding a little more pressure on my finances. Silver lining is that I can now focus on judo with no distraction for the next 2 months :)

After a successful tour in South America, picking up a bronze medal, two 5th places, and valuable world ranking points the journey continues!

In July I head off to Europe for two Grand Prixs and an Asian Open in Taipei on the way home.

I'll spend a few weeks at home before the World Champs in Tokyo, then head back to Europe for more training and competitions.

A busy (and expensive) time ahead!
