Hello

My name is Ava and I am a thirteen year old surfer from Sumner, Christchurch.

I love surfing and have worked hard over the last year to be selected for the New Zealand Under 16 girls World Junior squad.

I went to every competition in the North and the South Island so I could be in the running for the NZ team.

Now that I have been selected I need help to get to the USA at the end of October and its a very expensive trip!

I am stoked to be only 13 and representing my country New Zealand.

I hope that I will do everyone proud in Christchurch and NZ.

Use of funds

The money raised will be put toward my travel costs, food and travel/ medical insurance. If we don't reach the goal the funds will still be used to pay Surfing New Zealand for my trip and I have other fundraiser's planned to raise the remainder.
