Chels has been selected to represent New Zealands U17s Womans Indoor Netball team travelling to South Africa and needs help to get there!!

Auckland

Chelsea has been selected to represent NZ U17s womans Indoor Netball team travelling to South Africa in July 2017 to compete at the Indoor Netball Junior World Tour. This is a great opportunity for Chelsea who participates in many sporting codes including outdoor netball, touch, basketball, Indoor netball and many more. Chelsea is a determined individual who puts her best foot forward demonstrating true leadership on and off the court, field and stages that she contributes to. In between trainings for her sports and studying full time she volunteers her time to community programmes, projects and events as well as providing leadership and guidance by supporting, coaching or training groups where her experience and knowledge can be used. Being able to represent her 3 nationalities (Maori, Tongan and Niuean) as a NZ international competitor is a huge achievement that Chelsea does not take this lightly. Chelsea appreciates all the support she receives from everyone during this campaign.

Out of one and into another  30 April 2017

Chelsea spent Easter Weekend in camp with Tamaki Makau Rau for Netball. Her team came away undefeated winning the U17 grade. This was no easy feat as every team wants to win, the girls all played amazingly. Straight out of this campaign, Chelsea switched codes and went into the New Zealand Indoor Netball unders tournament. This was hard for her as she also lost a friend before campaigning but promised to play her heart out for him. She played in the U17s mixed grade, and they came away runners up out of the 10 teams from across the country that competed. On return Chelsea has been trialling for a spot in the U17s Netball Waitakere representative teams.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
