Help save the planet. Help reduce waste going to landfil. Help those Kiwis affected by the flooding and already struggling to pay every household bill. Help the children have a warm nights sleep.
Your foil packets (chips, biscuits, healthy crackers... all foil packaging) can be used to make thermal survival sheets for those in need to be warm in New Zealand. We are raising funds to purchase an industrial roller ironer to help with the making process. Presently each survival sheet takes 4hrs of volunteer time to make. A roller ironer will cut this time down to 60mins - a real game changer!
About us
Chip Packet Project reuses your empty foil packets and creates survival sheets (thermal blankets) for those living on the streets throughout NZ. A chip packed can take 80 years to decompose in landfill - shocking!

Getting Closer to What An Ironer Roller Looks Like! 29 May 2023
Thanks so very much for your support! We are getting closer! Daisy (the Rescue Dog) has checked an Ironer Roller out and that look on her face is one of approval (honest)! An Ironer Roller will transform the plastic sandwich process that currently takes 90mins down to 15mins! A huge game changer in getting Survival Blankets out the door to those Kiwis who have nothing!
