Help Raise Funds for the Farewell of Taki Chong Nee

    It is with great sadness that the Chong Nee family wish to advise that their beloved Taki passed away in the early hours of this morning, at home with his family. They are all very grateful for the messages of support and the donations received so far, and we would like to thank everyone. This is a devastating outcome. If you would like to continue to offer your support, please feel free to share the page still, and any donations will be put towards the funeral arrangements.

    Hi All, Many thanks for your generous donations and messages of support for Selina & Tiki and the Chong Nee Family. A big thanks to those too who have gifted funds privately to Selina & Tiki before the Give A Little Page was created. Taki has unfortunately been denied access to New Zealand for treatment. The specialist has indicated that he believes there is no treatment available to help Taki. His diagnosis is terminal. We would like to continue the fundraising to assist with medication and pain relief costs for Taki, to make him as comfortable as possible, and assist the family with the ongoing costs for the forseeable future. The pain relief required costs more for one small prescription than most Samoan's make in a whole day at work. Thanks again, we will keep everyone updated with information as it comes to hand.
