Raise money to alleviate some financial stress during my friends health issues

A dear friend of mine was diagnosed last year with stage 3 cancer. Since her diagnosis, she has undergone surgery, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy. All of this treatment is physically, mentally, and financially draining. I want to raise funds to alleviate some of the financial stress that comes with cancer treatment.
On the 14th of September, I am going to chop off my hair and donate it to a business in Dunedin that makes wigs. Although the aim of this fundraiser is to raise money for my friend Colleen, chopping off my hair will also benefit others in need.
I have donated my hair to this business before, but this time I would like to fundraise as my friend is in great need of financial assistance. I see this as a great way to help and it only costs me my hair which will always grow back.

I worked alongside Colleen for several years in the healthcare system. She has spent her entire career looking after other people. She is a dear friend of mine and this is a way that I can help.
Use of funds
The money will be given to my friend to assist with the financial pressures that come with being sick. This includes doctors appointments, car service, car registration, glasses prescription, rent, groceries, fuel and general cost of living.

Hair Donation 18 September 2024
Over the weekend I chopped off over 15 inches of hair. This hair was sent to Freedom Wigs to be made into a wig.
