Chris Mirams Road to Recovery
Nationwide
A Valued Member of Our KartSport HB and SuperKart Drivers Club Family
We are reaching out to ask for your support for one of our own — our valued member and committee member, Chris Mirams.
Recently, while racing at Manfeild, Chris was involved in a serious incident that resulted in him being airlifted to Wellington Hospital’s Emergency Department. His father John, who was at the track that day, has remained by his side ever since and will continue to do so as Chris begins his long road to recovery.
The past few weeks have been incredibly challenging for Chris and his family, and while we’ve given the family space and time to focus on his healing, we are now rallying together to offer more tangible support.
Chris’s recovery is showing positive signs, but it will take time, and as many of you know, Chris is self-employed, which brings financial stress on top of everything else.
To help ease this burden, we have set up a Givealittle page.
Any contribution, no matter how big or small, will go directly toward supporting Chris, Aria and Hugo during this difficult time.
Please consider donating and sharing this message with your wider network. Your kindness will go a long way in helping Chris focus on what matters most right now — healing.
On behalf of the KartSport HB Committee and SuperKart Drivers Club Committee, we thank you for your generosity and care. We’re all behind Chris, and we can’t wait to see him back home.

WOW, what an update to share!
Chris is beginning to stand, and walk a little, which is such a huge milestone for Chris, and his family.
While Chris is making great progress with standing and walking, his brain injury still requires time for recovery. Chris remains in the best place for this recovery to happen.
Chris and his family would like to thank everyone for their continued support.
Photo of Chris standing on the scale platform, without his leg brace on. It certainly put a smile on our faces when we received this update.
