We are now working actively on our conservation plan which is architect-supervised and will restore this national historic-listed treasure to its full health. All donations are applied to our work in the community and to the preservation of this unique part of our country's history. Thank-you for your donations.
We are now welcoming visitors to park by our church hall when they visit the church. You can make a donation in the box/slot in the church, or use the QR code. Please take an acknowledgment slip from the church porch and display under your wiper or on your dashboard. We rely on honesty, so please use this for the one half day parking that you need - another donation on another day is always welcome!
We are so grateful to you, our visitors who have experienced our place of calm at Christ Church Russell and made a donation. When we say we are the heart of this community, I can tell you we have had around 1000 mourners turn to us to commemorate the life of lost love ones - and that's just this year so far. We've also had weddings and weekly services, all possible through the help of supporters across and beyond Christian denominations.
One day we hope our church hall will have the facilities to accommodate the overflow so people don't have to stand out in the rain when the church is packed.
