CHRISTINA'S KIDNEY TRANSPLANT JOURNEY TO GOOD HEALTH

My niece Christina has been battling kidney failure for a long time now, with her health slowly deteriorating over the years edging her closer to needing dialysis unless a deceased or living donor could be found for her.

Christina is mum to 21 year old Daniel and 11 year old Emerson. She has been the sole income earner for them and worked very hard in full time clerical employment to support them all. Since the beginning of this year she has had to resign from full time work due to extreme tiredness and nausea among other symptoms. This has meant that they can no longer financially sustain their own rental property to call home, and are at present boarding with a friend.

The good news is that a living donor has now been found for Christina! And her transplant operation will be in July 2019!

Because of the time she will need to fully recover, Christina has now had to take time off from her part time employment as a Teacher Aid. Which means that her financial stress has now gotten even bigger, and she will be needing help with board, food, petrol and everyday expenses for her and her son/s.
