Christmas with My Mum and Whanau

It’s been 6 months already since returning back here to Ukraine with the hope of helping a nation in great

need

My objectives for this year was to establish a respite house for people effected by mental trauma because of the war.

I have also been partnering with GCS UK

GCS are a member of the Strategic Advisory Group for the Ukraine Food Security and Livelihoods Cluster with the UNHCR.

GCS serve alongside lead agencies including National NGOs, International NGOs and UN Agencies.

Since the end of February 2022, GCS and our partners on the ground have provided 5,480 tonnes of food aid to communities in eastern Ukraine (the equivalent of 8.7 million meals), and we have safely evacuated 58,366 people.

I have been able to establish a food - Aid distribution network for my region as I was gifted a 12 seater van for this work

I am awaiting medical supplies from New Zealand to help with a Military field hospital to service 6 battalions

I am committed to staying till the end of this war

I have huge overheads here

I still pay rent back in New Zealand

I would like to raise funds to come home for Christmas to see my mum and whanau for 4-5 weeks

Winter time I’m Europe is cold and so I want to make sure food and supplies for communities will continue to flow
