Christmas For The Chiltons

Hi everyone! My name is Meg, and I am a fellow friend and classmate of Sarah Chilton. Her and her family, this year alone, have been robbed 5 TIMES since July. Not only have they been robbed 5 times, but right before Christmas as well.

We all know how stressful and crazy the Christmas time can be, and robberies are in the high zone. In the midst of all this chaos, Sarah and her family have remained positive and are looking on the up sides, rather than the downsides.

Here is her previous status on Facebook, to shine some light on her optimism:

"Dear Robbers

Thank you for once again targeting us, at this time of the year when everyone is so busy it is nice to know that you are thinking of our family.

You are also so kind in taking our children's previous birthday and Christmas presents, as this takes the pressure off us as parents to think of something new to buy them.

Our eldest son has a birthday on Christmas Day so the fact that you took his "half birthday" present that we purchased during the year to spread the monetary load, means he will get another brand new one, he will be stoked.

We love that you have taken the same value amount as our insurance excess, which is unusually high due to the company doubling it and tricking us into signing as an AP, your thoughtfulness knows no bounds.

I imagine we will be hosting your presence again in the near future, might I suggest waiting until after Christmas for the "mega haul" of goodies that you seem to think we can afford to purchase time and time again.

I have set up this page today, to show a little gratitude towards the positivity this family brings. EVeryone can learn a little by the beauty of this families reaction. Every day at course this year, Sarah brought a smile to everyone's faces. She has worked her butt off this year to provide for her family, and work towards her Bachelor of Visual Arts and Design. On top of all her hard work, a tragedy like this happens to her family 5 times, but they remain on top.
