Miss Chevious Cinders, or Cindy as others may know her, is a well known character in the New Zealand burlesque industry. Winner of the 2014 New Zealand Burlesque Festival’s Golden Garter Award for “Favourite Industry Groupie”, Cindy is a familiar face around the country, as she travels to support burlesque shows, festivals and workshops. While Cindy is retired, she still manages to travel on a shoestring to offer her support and is often seen working at shows on the door or in the audience, if she isn’t performing!
Cindy has become one of our most colourful and lovable characters in our burlesque community. Dubbed the Grand Dame of New Zealand Burlesque, this pink panther has a dream to travel to BHOF in Las Vegas to celebrate her 80th birthday.
We would love to make this sparkly dream come true for this beautiful soul who has relentlessly supported ours. Funds raised will contribute towards flights for Cindy, and accommodation while in Las Vegas. Please, give a little love to Cindy so she can travel to the sparkly, glittery lights of Las Vegas and celebrate her 80th in style!

I met Cindy at one of the shows and she has been a friendly and eccentric character who is often seen supporting shows around New Zealand. Cindy always gives her time and I would like to honour her contributions by helping make her burlesque dream of travelling to BHOF a reality.
