Kia Ora Koutou,

My name is Claire Cooper and I am a fencer from New Zealand who dreams of going to the Olympics! I am fully self funded and I work as a Speech therapist to fund myself. This year I want to make a run at the Paris Olympics which requires a lot of overseas qualification events and opportunities for me.

I am one of New Zealands strongest fencers and I am the current national champion along with being on the national team that recently went to world championships in Milan 2023 and Commonwealths in 2022.

Any contribution is so appreciated and I am so grateful for the support! Each event is roughly 5000 dollars and I have about 6 to attend! I've not put a goal amount as anything is massively appreciated!

It's been 20 years since a fencer has been at the Olympics, so let's try our best to send one to Paris!

Upcoming world cups 27 January 2024

Kia Ora Koutou,

I would just like to thank everyone from the absolute bottom of my heart for supporting me thus far through donations and sharing this around! I am pleased to say that in 1 week I will be off to the Barcelona world cup and 1 month after that, I will be at the Nanjing world cup!

All of the funds have gone to the events and I couldn't have done any of this without everyone's support so THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

I will be looking to head to another 2 to 3 world events after these two so stay tuned!
