Hello everyone.
My name is Tracy Clark and I am a sufferer of Morgellons and chronic Lyme disease. cervical cancer and vision impairment. For Vital information about Morgellons the following utube will show you a clearer idea on what I am going through:
and hopefully ive put the best links on this page for viewing.
Currently there is no cure or medical help for Morgellons disease, it is an emerging systemic illness that is currently affecting thousands of people across the world. Morgellons is a poorly understood condition, which is not yet recognised by the medical community, often referred to a 'delusional parisitosis' which science has proven wrong. The bacteria 'borrellia burgdoferi' has been found in the skin samples of Morgellons sufferers. Please links below for this information.
I have had to quit my career and I was just starting out with my own healing sites/art work. I am too sick to work. I am in constant pain all day long with stinging, biting on my skin, crawling sensations and I get severe joint pain and nausea. ect..
There is little help in new zealand for chronic Lyme disease and Morgellons medical professionals they are still saying this is an imaginary disease, so my aim now is to go abroad. my family have been amazing support but now I need extra help.
My goal is to get to a Health Centre in Cyprus or find reasearchers in the uk which speclialises in the treatment of complex and chornic diseases.
Also looking for proper researchers in nz or closer to take a better consideration of what is happening.
Also my second goal is to get my children back once i am healthy enough again and can afford a bond for a rental place and furniture to start my life again. My babies have been taken away as I cannot afford to look after them at this time whilst sick. I really look forward to getting better as they are most important in this world.
OTHER COMMONLY REPORTED OBSERVATIONS
1. Most patients will have sought care from multiple medical care providers. A large number will have been diagnosed with Delusional Parasitosis likely because of the juxtaposition of unexplained skin lesions and sensations and psychiatric overlay. Unfortunately, almost none will have received an appropriate diagnostic physical examination (particularly a microscopic or biopsy examination of lesions), but will have been diagnosed by history alone with grossly incomplete observation.
2. Most of these patients feel abandoned by the traditional medical care system and have sought alternative care providers or have self medicated, seriously compounding an already difficult medical situation
LABORATORY AND OTHER DIAGNOSTIC EVALUATION
To date, there have been no formal laboratory or imaging studies done in this patient group. There are some reasonably consistent clinical findings, however, that need further examination, in controlled studies, to be corroborated or refuted.
