Cleo's leg amputation

Auckland

On April 26th we found this beautiful cat in our yard and realised that it had a chunk missing from her leg. We took her to the vet and found out the damage to her leg was significant and she was likely in pain for a long time before we found her. They attempted to contact her owner. Cleo had been missing since before Christmas and we found out that due to a significant change of circumstances, they sadly cannot continue to care for the cat.

Cleo is under Paw Kitties at the moment and will be looking for a forever home once her amputation and medical care is done. As she currently doesn't have an owner, we are fundraising for her amputation and medical care. This is estimated to be $3000. Any excess will go towards Paw Kitties who help rehabilitate and rehome injured or abandoned cats.

Cleo deserves another chance at a happy life.

Anything will help!

I am working with the person who initially rescued Cleo 8 years ago & the vet who is looking after her. All the money will go directly to Cleo's care & medical bills. If there is any left over it will go to paw kitties rescue.
