Climbing Wall in Te Anau!!!

    For those who supported us that don't yet know, our project was successful. Te Anau now has an awesome climbing wall, and it's been busy since day one. Since opening in May of 2021, we've seen more than 600 unique users and thousands of hours of use, and we're just getting started!     Thanks again, and stay tuned for phase 2 of our project--a bouldering wall! We'll then have what it takes to begin offer an pathway to the olympics for area youth in climbing. Dream big, climb hard!

  • Almost there!

    Good news! We've successfully funded version 1 of the wall, and building will commence in Feb.

    However, our lotteries grant was unsuccessful, leaving us short of version 2, which adds 50 sqm and 4 ropes of beginnner friendly slab--the perfect environment for kids and teaching. We feel that the project won't be complete without this addition and are thus re-opening this Give-a-Little page and asking for a final push of support to help raise the $24,000 we're short for version 2.

    We're working hard to meet this goal and leaving no funding stone unturned, but know that a bit more support from private donors can go a long way toward it! With a bit of help we'll all be slab climbing together by mid-march.
