Let’s help take 1 stress away during this time, so Clint can focus on fighting this battle, and his family on supporting him <3
Auckland
Clint, Taf & their children have been through some tough life challenges the last few years & now they are facing one of their biggest.
Clint has been diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer & is undergoing chemotherapy, radiation with weekly injections as well as ongoing pain relief medication. He has completed 1 cycle of chemo & is responding well to his weekly injections. Additionally, Clint is trying to work when he can on their new business they opened late last year as Taf is due to have a baby in the coming weeks & can only do limited work.
Unfortunately, due to being misdiagnosed of his symptoms for over a year, his cancer was picked up too late and urgent treatment (Trastuzumab/Herceptin) was required privately, which was not covered & came at a cost. This has financially set them back over $55K & depleted their savings. On-going treatments cost are also not fully funded & weekly injections are not government funded costing $1000 each, on top of routine scans & doctor appointments.
This is where WE, 'their village', can wrap around them so they can focus more on what is important & not the stresses of $$. So, please if you are able, donations are welcomed <3
I will update on this page how things are going to keep you all informed (at their discretion), otherwise all the thanks, aroha and appreciation to you all!
PS: This page will also be a shock to many of you as they have been going through this battle privately. Please be mindful how vulnerable & hard this will be for them sharing their hardship.
