Clutch & Sam's unexpected journey

We want to support Clutch and Sam as they concentrate on Sam's treatment and recovery.

Waikato

Clutch and his wife Sam recently got the news we all hope not to hear. Sam has been diagnosed with stage 3 Breast cancer which has also travelled to her lymph nodes. She has just started the long treatment process which they have to fund themselves as this was the only way for her to be seen by specialists and get her treatment started, giving her the best chance.

They did get some good news this week that they have caught the cancer at a treatable stage. Sam still has Chemo, surgery and radiation treatment ahead of her over the next 5 years.

Going Private has come at a great expense to Clutch and Sam who have spent many thousands already. The funds raised here will go directly to Clutch & Sam to offset the treatment costs, time off work and loss of income.

Felicity Hargreaves' involvement (page creator)

Allan aka Clutch is a good friend and former workmate of many of us at Alton Drilling Ltd in Waihi.

We are a tight unit and support each other the best we can. Clutch would be the first one to offer help and support to us.

Use of funds

Funds raised will be used for ongoing costs associated with Sam's treatment.
