🧡 Cody’s Softball Dream – Canada 2026 ⚾

In just 10 days, Cody will be heading to Canada to live a dream!

Cody LOVES softball!! He lives at the park training, playing & coaching softball. He plays in multiple teams, coaches 2 boys teams & is a much-loved part of our softball family.

This season, Cody played alongside 3 Canadian players who came to NZ for a softball exchange. They became good friends & now Cody has the incredible opportunity to travel to Vancouver for 4 months to play with them — a dream come true for someone who lives and breathes the game.

Cody has worked incredibly hard and saved over $8,000 himself to make this happen, showing just how much it means to him. This trip comes with significant costs, flights, board, food, insurance, transport, & softball expenses for fees & tournaments, while also giving him the chance to see a bit of Canada.

Cody had planned to work while in Canada, but we’ve learned the process isn’t straightforward. Getting a work visa can take weeks or months & by then there may be little time left. The cost of the visa & insurance also means he would need to work many hours just to cover those costs.

With Cody leaving soon, we are hoping to raise around $2,000 to help with the final expenses & give him security to fully enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity without financial stress.
